This video teaches how to use a classic snorkel mask, which allows you to breathe and swim underwater without needing to come up for air. Snorkel masks can be categorized into regular masks that enclose your eyes and nose, and full-face snorkel masks that cover your whole face. To use a snorkel mask, tighten the straps, lay flat in the water on your stomach, and place the snorkel on the left side of the mask.
