Carnival cruises allow guests to bring one bottle of wine onboard, which can be filled with liquor and sealed. Rum runners in checked luggage and other sneak flasks can work just as well with Carnival as with any other cruise line. To sneak alcohol on a Carnival cruise, passengers can use disguise and concealment techniques. One effective method is to disguising beverages as everyday items. Carnival Cruise Line allows guests to bring one bottle of wine or champagne per guest during embarkation day only.
The classic method is to empty a bottle of wintergreen mouthwash, sterilize it with boiling water, and let it dry before filling it with alcohol. The best place to hide alcohol for a cruise is in your checked luggage, which can be dropped off at the port. If you didn’t sneak or try to disguise your alcohol, you can bring two bottles of wine champagne on board. Empty the bottle, fill it with spirit, and seal back. Buy wine that doesn’t use corks and wrap and seal the bottle cap carefully.
Using mouthwash bottles to sneak alcohol on a cruise is as classic as it can get. Tint clear alcohol light blue or green and pour it into a clean mouthwash bottle to slip past security.

Room Inspections. Even if you somehow get past the cruise ship scanner with your booze, there’s still a chance of getting caught sneaking alcohol. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation. Guests should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents necessary for each port of call. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued.
