Princess Cruises has announced that it will lift all COVID-19 health and safety measures starting October 21, 2022. This means that guests of all ages traveling with Princess Cruises will no longer be subject to the vaccine requirement for most voyages of less than 16 days, and adjusting pre-travel testing. Princess passengers no longer have to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or proof of a negative test result, unless either is required.
All guests 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated, with a booster dose required for those aged 18 and older whose final dose of an approved vaccine is less than 16 days. Children under 2 years old have no vaccination or test requirements. The minimum age to sail is 6 months or 12 months based on the cruise itinerary.
Transport Canada has removed all COVID-19 vaccination requirements to enter countries, and most major cruise lines do not require guests to be vaccinated unless they are traveling from or to a destination that requires it. However, there are some exceptions where passengers can use an approved booster dose.
Guests sailing with Princess Cruises are welcome regardless of vaccination status, and vaccination and testing requirements have been lifted on most voyages. Documentation of recovery from COVID-19 or blood antibody tests are not accepted in place of a primary vaccine. Most major cruise lines do not require guests to be vaccinated unless they are traveling from or to a destination that requires it.
