Does Princess Cruise Have Kids Club?

Princess Cruises has rebranded and expanded its kids club facilities, now called Camp Discovery, on the Caribbean Princess® family cruise ship. The Reef Family Splash Zone is an interactive splash pad with giant windows, and Princess Kids Cruises aims to create lifelong memories for every sailing. The third iteration of Sun Princess will set sail from February 2024 as the line’s next-generation cruise ship, the debut of the lines Sphere class.

The ship offers expanded space for youth centers, including kidsitting, youth dining, youth centers, and teen lounges. The Lodge, a contemporary lounge for teens aged 13-17, is perfect for late-night movie viewing and hip hop dance. The Princess video team may videotape children’s activities for a souvenir DVD made specifically for your cruise.

The kids club is included in your cruise fare, and after-hours babysitting is from 10pm to 1am, and the kids clubs are closed at that time. The ship also features two new stand-alone and inclusive youth and teen centers, as well as a dedicated kids club. Access to all of the amenities is available to all passengers, including children under 3.

In summary, Princess Cruises takes family vacations seriously by offering a variety of special features for all ages, including the Reef Family Splash Zone, Camp Discovery, and the Sun Princess.

What It Is. A free-of-charge youth club, Royal Caribbean’s Adventure Ocean caters to three age groups: Aquanauts (3 to 5 and who need to be potty-trained for enrollment), Explorers (6 to 8) and Voyagers (9 to 11). Each category has a dedicated space where parents can drop off their children while they amuse themselves onboard or on shore. Facilities vary by vessel (some are more elaborate than others). Though there’s no official theme of Adventure Ocean, you can be assured that activities are engaging and educational, and the decor, splashy and colorful. Junior cruisers can expect rooms outfitted with crenellated castle walls or painted with a bounty of sea creatures.

Depending on the age group and ship, children can partake in activities such as brainteasers, scavenger hunts and dodge ball games. Staffers may set up the room with cool tunnels and tents or conduct story time or dress-up sessions. Arts and crafts projects include making murals, chef hats or birthday cards. Young cruisers can also participate in the Adventure Science program, which offers hands-on science experiments on topics such as volcanos, fossils or gravity.

Are children cheaper on Princess Cruises?

Princess will charge full fare for the children. sometimes if they are the 3rd and 4th in a cabin there will be a break on the fare.

Can anyone tell me what is the general pricing structure for children on Princess cruises – do they pay full freight – I have five grandchildren – ranging in age from 7 to 2.

Also, has anyone booked the family suites – how many people do they accommodate.

Just trying to get an idea before I go forward with our plans for December.

What age can kids go to kids club on cruises?

MSC Cruises’ kids club, Doremiland, is divided into five clubs based on age: Baby Club (up to 3 years old), Mini Club (ages 3 to 6), Junior Club (7 to 11), Young Club (12 to 14) and Teen Club (15 to 17).

Quality time together is a hallmark of a great family vacation, but sometimes kids just want to play with their peers — and adults need a break. Cruise lines understand these dual needs deeply and have designed ships accordingly, with amazing, expansive cruise kids clubs.

Kids clubs give families more choices in daytime and evening activities because they have options to hang out together or spend time apart. The clubs take the pressure off parents to find fun, age-appropriate activities for their kids all day long while suppressing their own needs for R&R and couples time. Also, kids who need video game time or social interaction with new friends can escape their siblings and “boring” adults for an hour or two… or more.
