Does Pinnacles Campground Give Discounts To Seniors?

Pinnacles Campground is located on the eastern side of Pinnacles National Park, offering family and group tent sites, RV sites with electric hookups, and gravel roads and parking spurs. The America the Beautiful Interagency Annual Pass does not provide discounts on camping, but is valid for the entrance fee into the park. The $80 Senior Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 62 or over, valid for the life of the holder.

Pinnacles holds a unique title as California’s youngest national park. The Senior Pass provides free access to over 2,000 federal recreation sites for U.S. citizens and permanent residents aged 62+. Both annual ($20) and lifetime passes are required year-round at the park. Visitors entering the park have multiple pass and entrance fee options available.

In 2024, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone. To learn if you qualify for one of the Interagency Passes, contact a site directly. The Forest Service, the National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife, and California Condors offer visitors views of pinnacles, cool caves, and the possibility to spot California condors.

The campground accepts and offers Interagency Passes to cover the entrance fee. If you already have a pass, bring it with you. Tripadvisor LLC performs checks on reviews as part of its industry-leading service.
