Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is set to launch its Caribbean cruises from Galveston, Texas, starting in 2022. Galveston, located off the coast of Texas, is known for its 32 miles of expansive beaches and historic buildings. The third-largest cruise line in the world, Norwegian Cruise Line, has announced plans to sail out of Galveston, with the Norwegian Prima being their new cruise ship.
The Norwegian Prima will depart on Saturday, December 13, 2025, and will offer a 7-day cruise on Norwegian Prima. The cruise will depart from Galveston, Texas, and will depart on Friday, March 7, 2025. The cruise will depart from Harvest Caye, Cozumel Roatan, and Great Stirrup Cay.
Galveston, located on the Gulf of Mexico, is a relaxed beach town with a rich history. Norwegian Cruise Line’s ships can be selected from Galveston for Caribbean cruises starting in 2022. The Norwegian Viva, the company’s newest ship, will homeport in Galveston in December 2025 and stay through March 2026.
In addition to the Norwegian Prima, Norwegian Cruise Line also offers other Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston, including the Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Viva, Harvest Caye, and Cozumel Roatan.
