The Kaiservilla, located outside of Salzburg, is a beautiful palace that was once the summer estate of Elizabeth and Franz Joseph. It is open all year round, daily between April and October, and on Wednesdays between January and March. The palace is home to the former tea house of Empress Elisabeth, the Marmorschlössl, and offers a guided tour of the Imperial villa, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. Visitors can also take photos and make movies from outside.
The guided tour is only available in German, and those who do not understand German must read the tour info from laminated A4 size paper. Visitors can explore the park, which is still owned by the Habsburg-Lotrin family. The interior of the villa is only accessible through a guided tour, and taking pictures is prohibited.
The Kaiservilla and its surrounding park are priced at 14,50 euros per adult, and visitors can only visit with a guided tour. Discounts are available for age-related and group visits, as well as for children and students. The estate is still owned by the Habsburg-Lotrin family, but part of it has been made available to the public through a guided tour.
In summary, the Kaiservilla is a wonderful palace that offers a unique experience for visitors to explore the charming town of Bad Ischl.

Many thanks Janus for walking that whole long distance bringing to us all that beauty in our comfort quarters, and i do wonder, if you kindly allow me, if it is safe to hike all alone in these Gothic woods like you did, and if there any safety measures made by the city to protect tourists’ expeditions? thanks again
