Do Carnival Cruise Ships Have Laundry Facilities?

Carnival Cruise Line ships offer self-service laundry facilities on each deck, including washing machines, dryers, ironing, and detergent. However, some ships, like Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee, and Mardi Gras, do not have these facilities. These ships also have ironing rooms on several stateroom decks and Valet Laundry service.

Self-service launderettes are available on most Carnival cruise ships, with two or three washing machines and dryers, along with an iron and ironing board. However, on Carnival Mardi Gras and Carnival, guests can use washers and dryers on multiple stateroom decks. Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Venezia do not have washers, dryers, or ironing rooms but do offer Valet Laundry service.

Carnival Spirit-class ships (Spirit, Legend, or Pride) have access to five launderettes for use throughout the ship. Full-service laundry and dry-cleaning services are available for an added cost on all Disney ships, and cabins come with laundry bags and forms.

In summary, Carnival Cruise Line ships offer various laundry options for passengers, including self-service launderettes on stateroom decks, ironing rooms, and Valet Laundry service.

  • I’ve only done laundry once on a cruise; we did a partial transit of the Panama Canal, and the cruise was 12 days. One recommendation: always check the face of the iron before beginning to iron your things. Often there will be a residue from what I assume is burned clothes (I’ve ironed on most cruises). Just a heads-up.

  • Have done laundry many times before onboard Carnival ships. We bring pre-measured detergent and powdered bleach in zip lock bags. We also bring quarters with us to save a trip to guest services to get change. Be mindful of your fellow cruisers, don’t throw a load in and wander too far off. These facilities are usually busy.
