Carnival Cruise Lines offers a variety of cabins, including staterooms and suites, with non-stocked mini bar units designed to maintain beverage temperature. However, these units are not standard in all rooms, and some smaller rooms, such as inside cabins, do not have refrigerators. Refrigerators are available on most Carnival cruises and not just in suites, except on Fantasy class ships.
Inside cabins, there are various amenities, such as telephone, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi (fee may apply). Some staterooms also come with additional amenities like balconies, whirlpool tubs, and separate living areas. Mini bars in staterooms are for convenience but may not be suitable for storing medication.
Carnival’s deck plans indicate that some rooms do have mini fridges, but they are not intended for storage of insulin medication. At certain ports of call, complimentary water shuttle service is required to transport guests between the ship and shore.
Guests are advised to choose the stateroom location that suits their preferences, as most cruise ships have refrigerators in staterooms. However, not all cabins come equipped with actual mini fridges, but rather coolers that look like little fridges.
In summary, Carnival Cruise Lines offers a variety of cabins, including staterooms and suites, with some features such as mini bars, telephones, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. However, it is important to note that these units may not be suitable for storing specific medications or medications.

Does Carnival Glory rooms have refrigerators?
While not overly large, staterooms on Carnival Glory feel spacious even when accommodating the maximum number of passengers. Storage is available not only in the closets and drawers but also under the sofa, the beds and in the nightstands. All staterooms share many basic features, including closets, hair dryers, in-room safes, mini-refrigerators and flat-screen TVs.
All cabins have private bathrooms outfitted with a single vanity that includes a good amount of counter space. On each side of the mirror, there are three small shelves that provide additional storage space. Toiletries included in each bathroom include bar soap on the vanity, and shower gel and shampoo in the shower. A clothesline is also installed in the shower.
Many staterooms accommodate up to four passengers, with connecting cabins available for larger groups traveling together. A select number of fully accessible and ambulatory accessible staterooms are also available.
Cabin Categories:. Interior: On Carnival Glory, there are 577 interior staterooms, all with 185square feet. The layout varies a bit depending on the type of stateroom. For instance, the Interior Upper/Lower staterooms have one twin bed and either an upper pull-down or a sofa bed, and accommodates up to two passengers. A standard interior stateroom, though, can hold up to four passengers with two twin beds (which can be combined into a king), an upper pull-down bed and a sofa bed. All have private bathrooms with showers. Despite the name, some interior rooms do feature either porthole windows or a regular picture window, with partially obstructed views of an observation deck.
What is the safest room on a cruise ship?
2. Lower decks. It’s a smart idea to select a stateroom below the waterline in addition to a mid-ship stateroom, which is typically distributed over multiple floors. This is due to the fact that this section of the ship, which is also its lowest and most central, is the most stable in choppy seas. The best spot to be if you’re feeling queasy is a central cabin on one of the lower decks. Be aware that these accommodations can occasionally feel cramped. Try to choose a room with easy access to other areas of the ship since there are no windows.

3. Ocean-view balconies. When you are outside and facing the horizon of the ocean, some of you are able to deal with motion sickness the best. You sometimes sense less the motion of the waves when you look out across the ocean. If you fall into this category, don’t barricade yourself in a cabin near the bottom of the ship. In such a scenario, you should be in a room with a sizable balcony that views out over the water. These kinds of rooms are excellent simply because they have a wide outlook, of course. They are helpful in situations other than when you are ill. You will have the opportunity to just sit and take in the view while the weather is quiet, which is most of the time. A balcony room on a cruise ship is without a doubt the greatest spot to stay if you’re travelling to a serene location.
Is there a fridge in the room on a Carnival cruise?
All cabins have mini fridges for your convenience. We advise that these fridges may not be suitable for storing medication. If you have any questions in regards to storing medication, please email [email protected] prior to boarding your cruise.
How do I keep my cruise fridge cold?
That’s it! By preventing the cabinet door from closing completely, you increase the air flow around the mini fridge therefore allowing it to do it’s job: COOL.
I personally put this theory to the test on my last cruise. I brought a mini thermometer /humidity gauge with me and placed it inside the mini fridge. On the first night, prior to adding a Fridge Booster, the temperature inside the mini fridge was 63.6 degrees F. As you can see, the inside temperature of the mini fridge dropped by adding a Fridge Booster and continued to as days went by.
So there you have it! A simple hack to get your cruise cabin’s mini fridge to actually cool. I’m sure you could use this hack for hotel mini fridges as well!

Do cruise cabins have mini fridges?
Most cruise lines do usually have a fridge of sorts in the cabins. These fridges are really “mini-bars.”
Sometimes they are stocked full of snacks, drinks and alcohol that you can buy at an inflated price, others are empty for you to put your own drinks or snacks in.
Some more luxury cruise lines like Viking, let you help yourself to anything in the minibar free of charge – but I usually cruise with the more mainstream cruise lines, so don’t go near the drinks and snacks stored in there!
Cabin fridges or “mini bars” are not as cold as a fridge in your own home. They may not be suitable for keeping your medication in.
Can I bring a 12 pack of soda on Carnival cruise?
While in port, a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each or less per person.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation. Guests should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents necessary for each port of call. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.
Except where it is a mandatory requirement, Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport book. The passport book must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the United States to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends, due to an emergency, to fly back to the United States without significant delays and complications.
For cruises that begin and end in the same U.S port, the following WHTI-compliant documents are acceptable for cruise travel. Please note that if the cruise visits Colombia or Greenland, a passport book(valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is required. A passport card with the same validity is also acceptable for cruises to Colombia.
