Can You Change The Person On A Cruise Ticket?

A name change is the cancellation of one guest and the addition of a new guest on a booking. An original guest must remain on the booking, otherwise, this is considered a full stateroom cancellation and applicable cancellation penalties will be assessed. Bed configuration can be changed by logging into your online account under Manage My Cruise, calling us or contacting your Travel Advisor.

You can change a passenger (with the 50 charge) up to 2-3 days before sailing. The booking doesn’t change unless the 2nd passenger has a separate room. It is possible to transfer your cruise reservation to another person, but there are certain conditions and procedures. Renowned cruise lines like Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival Cruises offer flexible options for making changes to your existing cruise reservation.

If you need to make changes to your booking (spelling corrections or to replace a guest), no administration fees will apply, unless you have booked on a GO fare or Short. Name changes (first or last) or substitutions can be made to all but one of the original names on your booking. These changes must be made before the final electronic manifest is sent to the ship, so it is advised that any changes be made far in advance of your sail date.

Airlines may not allow name changes on scheduled flights and that the flight booking may need to be cancelled. If one person is still going, you can change the name of the other person at no additional cost. No name changes are allowed, and a 50 service fee will be assessed per person for ship and/or sail date changes made prior to the final payment due. To make a name change or find out the exact fees charged on your booking, please call 1-800-438-6744.
