The staterooms and suites vary by ship, but all offer amenities such as television, telephone, private bath, shower, vanity, and hair-dryer. Hair dryers provided onboard require holding down a button the entire time, and they are located in the living quarters rather than the bathroom.
All Royal Caribbean cabins are equipped with a hair dryer, so there is no need to pack your own. For most passengers, a hair dryer is necessary. However, the only exception to this policy is curling irons and hair straighteners. Matches and normal lighteners are allowed onboard, but torch lighters and novelty lighters are not allowed.
