Are Dogs Allowed On Norwegian Cruise?

Norwegian Cruise Line allows dogs on certain sailings, with specific areas designated for them. However, pet owners should be aware of certain conditions and restrictions before bringing their furry friends on board. Most cruise lines ban dogs on cruise ships, but exceptions are made for service animals. Norwegian Cruise Line accepts service animals under the ADA guidelines but does not accept emotional support animals. For service dogs to board the ship, guests must provide up-to-date vaccination records and a USDA or International health certificate for their service dog.

No pets are allowed, except for guide dogs that have been properly certified as therapy dogs and allowed on the ship. Service dogs are permitted in select ship cabins, provided they are on a leash or in a harness. Dog walks on Norwegian Cruise Line are permitted, but they are not allowed as emotional support animals.

Carnival Cruise Lines welcome service dogs on board, while Norwegian Cruise Line does not allow animals of any kind, except service animals. However, they can still be brought on board in a proper carrier, depending on the rules of the line. PO Cruises allows fully-trained assistance dogs on board, while other lines may accept service dogs that are trained to perform specific tasks.

In summary, Norwegian Cruise Line allows service animals on certain sailings, but it is essential to check the policies and amenities of these cruise lines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
