Are Cruise Ships Still Going To Puerto Rico?

Puerto Rico is becoming increasingly popular for cruise ships, with several lines such as Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara Cruises deciding to skip San Juan in their itineraries. Princess Cruises has announced its return to San Juan for a season of Southern Caribbean cruises onboard, while Grand Cruise Lines have started to suspend calls to the island due to new testing requirements implemented by local authorities. Puerto Rico will withdraw its testing requirements for in-transit visitors in just a few weeks, allowing cruise lines to visit the country without testing each ship.

Celebrities like Princess Cruises offer contemporary ships with sun-drenched pool decks, al fresco dining, cool bars, and glittering beaches. Many cruises that make a voyage through the Caribbean make a port call in Puerto Rico, including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, and Costa. Cruises out of San Juan are still on hold, but many cruises that make a voyage through the Caribbean make a port call in Puerto Rico.
